Lyrics and meaning of "Sacrifice"
This is a personal song I made for myself, to take a nap and let my mind go.
In order to d that, the effort and sacrifice we have been taught to constantly make, prevents us from being free.
This song is about stop trying hard to become and change the world and simply surrender to the unknown beyond our control.
It is definitely a critic to religion's hypnosis too =D
Sacrifice
Would you come?, would you see?, if I tell you there's another way
Give free rein, think you're safe, risk the part to get the whole again
You don't know what you're missing, with your sacrifice
A hidden door waits inside your mind
You can look away, just for now
but you'll never find the paradise
don't you hear?, don't you feel?, all your efforts will never be enough
Don't you dream?, don't you miss?, all your fights would turn into release
You don't know what you're missing, with your sacrifice
A hidden door waits inside your mind
You can look away, just for now
but you'll never find the paradise
For the wonders of the unknown that you will see
for the abundance in your soul you came to live
for the pleasure of this moment, let you be
to sacrifice your thoughts allows you to be free
You don't know what you're missing, with your sacrifice
A hidden door waits inside your mind
You can look away, just for now
but you'll never find the paradise
For the wonders of the unknown that you will see
for the abundance in your soul you came to live
for the pleasure of this moment, let you be
to sacrifice your thoughts allows you to be free
